Love That Dog!

Hey!

Ever gone to a pet shop and said: Oh My Gosh that is so cute!!!!! I have to buy it!

I'm sure you have. Well, I have. I mean, so? What's the big deal here? Would you believe me if I said that some people buy animals because they think they're cute, and what happens when the animals grow up? They abandon them. Leave them on the streets, on the doorstep (literally) of the SPCA. Leaving them, miserable, clueless, wondering what on earth they had done wrong.

Sad, isn't it?

Not caring for animals can effect them real bad, you know? To you, they're you pets. To them, you're everything. Animals have feelings too. And here's a little story to show it:

The petshop was teeming with people. I looked through the animals and instantly found one I liked. Its fur was sleek and shiny. The Golden Retriever puppy was rolling about trying to make snarling noises, but only causing people to laugh at its cuteness. I brought it home and took good care of it. Years passed, Faith grew up. I started losing interest in her.
She was no longer the cute little puppy, but a full grown, irritating one. I came home from school, and she would jump about me, delighted and asking for attention. She did this everyday and I ignored her and shooed her away.
One day, I came home from school, and there was Faith lying on the floor, with her head between her paws, her eyes mournful and miserable. She didn't move. I tried to pet her, but she turned her head away from me. Shrugging it off, I went to do my homework. The next day, Faith had passed away. This had been a lesson I would never forget all my life. A lesson that all creatures had feelings I had to care about.

-Main story from Readers Digest (But changed a bit because I couldn't remember the exact words)

Well you see? We have to care for everybody no matter what!
